Required Registered Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medication administration, care planning, and dementia care. This role is pivotal in managing a team of healthcare professionals while providing compassionate support to residents in an assisted living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications as required and oversee medication management protocols within the facility.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Ensure that all staff receive appropriate training in areas such as dementia care, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, incidents, and staff performance in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for residents.

Qualifications

  • Registered Care home experience or senior operations role within supported living care setting.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting, ideally with a focus on assisted living or nursing home environments.
  • Strong knowledge of learning disabilities and legislation related to health and social care.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that reflect individual resident needs while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in the field of elderly care.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£39,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Performance bonus
